While academics are at the core of SRVCA curriculum, we recognize that a child’s education encompasses more than just traditional academic subjects.  Enrichment classes offer our students a broader education, giving them opportunities for creative expression while enhancing physical and brain development.  The importance of early exposure to art, music, foreign language, P.E., and their correlation to increased academic achievement is widely recognized. Computer technology classes combine skill-building, creative projects and lessons in digital citizenship, helping students to develop good boundaries around technology use.  In fifth grade our students are introduced to our STEAM program which challenges them with hands on projects in science, technology, engineering, art and math. This fun and inspiring enrichment program continues through our middle school. Our enrichment teachers work closely with classroom teachers to provide learning extensions at each grade level.  Educating the whole child is key to helping our students become the people God made them to be.
