Welcome to Fifth Grade

Hands on and interactive, fifth grade is a transition year between elementary school and middle school. This is an important bridge year as students shift from teacher led assignments to taking ownership over their own learning in a safe environment.  Cooperative math centers to hands on science experiments, students learn from doing.  Writing, computer skills, art skills and research all go into creating their State ABC books that will be cherished for years to come. Students are taught history in one class, science in the other, exposing them to the skill of switching classes. Most importantly students pray together and study topical biblical subjects as they prepare for the next stage in life. Every subject is taught with the filter of how does this relate to the Kingdom of God?
