Community Presbyterian Preschool provides a planned, age-appropriate program of learning experiences combined with play in an atmosphere of Christian love.
At Community Presbyterian Preschool, we believe that the preschool years are a time to EXPLORE, a time to PLAY, a time to DEVELOP NEW SKILLS and a time to learn about GOD'S LOVE.
We first opened our doors in 1961, and were known as the Lads and Lassies Nursery School. Pastor Orville Shick changed the school’s name to Community Presbyterian Preschool, and Corrine McClure was the first director. Over the past five decades more than 12,000 students have received a positive first educational experience at Community Presbyterian Preschool.
