EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

In grades K-5, students develop a strong foundation in core academics to support a lifelong love for learning. Experienced teachers lead the students in enrichment classes including PE, Music, Art, Spanish, Computers, and Library, providing exceptional academics while celebrating and supporting students’ individual needs. Bible curriculum is intended to help strengthen a child’s relationship with Jesus through age-appropriate object lessons, scripture memory, and special projects.

On average, we incrementally increase daily homework by 10-15 minutes per grade level, beginning in 1st grade.

NURTURING PERFORMANCE THROUGH DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING

Believing that every child has been created in God’s image, the SRVCA faculty strives to provide varied teaching methods to work with learners of different styles.

ACADEMIC RESOURCES

SRVCA’s resource program offers Christian education to students who learn in different ways. Currently, we support students with dyslexia, processing problems, and executive functioning challenges. Teachers partner with the public school system and private specialists to meet individualized goals.

CLASS SIZE

Our class sizes cap between 18-24 students, with small increases in grades 1, 3 and 6.

STEAM

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) projects are explored in grades 1 to 8. Collaboration and hands-on learning inspire children to creatively use higher-order thinking skills.
